Adopt-a-Room (1)On Mother’s Day, we announced that Mosaic House is moving to a new facility in July. Over the next year, more than 250 women and children fleeing violence and exploitation will find safe haven at the new Mosaic House.

We are thrilled to give them a tranquil, healing space to start building new lives, with a beautiful residential space, large outdoor porch and play area, children’s multipurpose room and library, computer lab, counseling room, play therapy room, and more. For the past month, we have been hard at work making the building into a home, with the help of more than 200 volunteers from community groups like Altrusa International of Dallas, and volunteers with Sabre and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, and now we need your help.

Do you want to lend a hand to make the new shelter into a home? Consider adopting one of our bedrooms! We will provide furniture and you can get creative with bedding, curtains and other decorations. This is a perfect project for individuals and groups who want to take on a tangible, fun project to help the shelter become a tranquil, healing space for survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence. We are also looking for donations and volunteers to help with the transition. Stay tuned for updates on our progress as we near our move-in date!
