Client Advocacy is the core of Mosaic’s comprehensive services for survivors of human rights abuses. Our multilingual client advocates serve as interpreters and advocates, connecting clients to all of the services and resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Mosaic strives to match clients with a client advocate who speaks their language and shares their cultural background. Our multicultural staff is fluent in over 25 languages, and many come from refugee and immigrant backgrounds themselves. Client advocates help clients to identify their needs and develop a plan specific to their needs. They schedule appointments and provide transportation to ensure clients are able to access the services they need. They also serve as a point of contact for crisis intervention in between appointments. From teaching clients how to ride the bus, to discussing positive discipline techniques with parents, client advocates provide one-on-one education to survivors in their native language to help them gain the knowledge needed to lead healthy, self-sufficient lives.
