This holiday season, we started a campaign to replace the beds at Mosaic House. The beds are truly in dire need of replacement, and we wanted to give the women and children of Mosaic House a more comfortable place to rest their heads.
Most of us are incredibly fortunate: we know our families will have a safe place to sleep tonight. When a woman is fleeing violence, abuse and oppression, she leaves behind everything she knows when she chooses to come to Mosaic House.
We strive to make Mosaic House a home of restoration – a place where women are able to rebuild their lives and regain their independence. But we rely on community support like yours to help truly make Mosaic House a peaceful and comfortable safe haven.
To date, we’ve raised over half the money needed to completely replace all the bunk beds and mattresses. The donations we’ve received are generous gifts of peace for the women and children staying at Mosaic House, and a true investment in empowering them to reach their full potential.

To show their appreciation, the women and children of Mosaic House painted a small token of thanks to be given to all those who chose to donate to this campaign. A wonderful group of volunteers from Word of Truth Family Church joined them as they decorated ornaments and enjoyed each other’s company, knowing they were giving back to people who have given them a safe place to call home. Here’s a sneak peak of some of the ornaments donors will be receiving just in time for Christmas next week:
If you choose to donate financially this month, 100% of your donation will go toward making Mosaic House a more peaceful and comfortable safe haven.
It has been a pleasure for our agency to partner with our supporters in making sure the holidays are a little brighter for the families of Mosaic House.
