We are thrilled to announce our grant award from the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation (DAYL)! For many years, the DAYL has supported Mosaic and our legal department in various ways, including through their foundation. This year, DAYL Foundation awarded Mosaic’s Multicultural Legal Department with $1,500.00 to provide interpretation and translation services for legal matters. These funds will reach many of our clients who have language barriers and create access to legal resources for them. These legal issues include family law and immigration law.

The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (“DAYL”) Foundation was chartered as a 501(c)(3) organization by the State of Texas in June, 1988. Through its grants program, the DAYL Foundation provides funding for law-related matters to local nonprofit organizations, and it also provides scholarships for law students who have demonstrated a passion for community service. The DAYL Foundation first became a granting body in 1999. Since then, the DAYL Foundation has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to worthy local non-profit organizations provide legal services to the indigent. The granting program is designed to promote quality projects, many of which have a legal theme. Grant awards are typically between $250 and $3,000.
