Mosaic Family Services is pleased to announce that we received a $5,000 grant from the Cathay Bank Foundation. The funds from this generous grant will directly support program costs at Mosaic House, our safe haven for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Our shelter is the only program in North Texas that serves the needs of multicultural women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Mosaic House provides safe emergency housing, comprehensive case management, life skills and educational training, as well as opportunities for self-sufficiency.
Support from the Cathay Bank Foundation will help us serve the ever increasing need for services as the opening of our new shelter in August 2014 has allowed us to increase capacity by 48%. For 2015, Mosaic House is expecting to serve 400 survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. At Mosaic Family Services, we are proud of our efforts to aid, educate, and empower the individuals and families of the communities we serve. We would like to thank the Cathay Bank Foundation for their continuous support of our mission to provide culturally competent services to refugees and immigrants in crisis.
