Mosaic’s Deputy Director, Bill Bernstein, delivered a Ted Talk last week in Plano, TX. Bill’s “Beyond Slavery” presentation discussed the impact and rise of human trafficking within the United States. Bill covered important topics such as how people become victims to human trafficking, why victims don’t always leave their captors, and how the community can provide support to survivors. This presentation also included inspiring stories of survivors who escaped the binds of human trafficking to become successful and independent. We are so proud of Bill’s dedication to educating the community on human trafficking and applaud him for taking the stage at TEDxPlano! Way to go Bill!
